32 oz High-Speed Trolling Weight

$35.00

Made with 800 lb cable and a 500 lb ball bearing snap swivel, these weights are tough and ready for high-speed trolling applications. They will generally stay sub-surface up to about 18 knots. This is an important component to have in your lure arsenal, as many lures tend to jump out of the water and skip along the surface as you increase speed. If your lure is skipping on the surface, you're not fishing. That being said, a lure that just comes up for a second every 5 seconds or so is running perfectly fine.

These weights can also be used at slower speeds to get your bait below the prop wash or to enhance the action of your lure. It is highly recommended to run spoon lures behind a trolling weight, but any lure will work, including diving baits if you choose to run them that way.

  • 800 lb stainless steel cable

  • 500 lb ball bearing snap swivel

  • 32 oz lead weight
