Troll it at a variety of speeds, from 7 to 12 kts without any additional trolling weight.
When rigged with a single hook, 150 lb leader or lighter is recommended for the 10 oz Plumbus. use heavier leader with handlines Try rigging four or more on one strand of heavy monofilament to make the best daisy chain on earth! Only put a hook on the last bait.
To fish deeper in the water column, try rigging a dead bait, large curly-tail, or large paddle-tail soft plastic, and troll from 1-5 kts.
Plumbus lures can also be jigged on the bottom while slow trolling/drifting for stripers, halibut, amberjack, grouper, snapper, and other bottom fish.
