DESCRIPTION

Plumbus X has more lifelike action than any other skirted trolling lure on the market! The solid lead head, offset lumen, and slanted head result in an irresistible erratic action that goes side-to-side as well as up and down in an “X” pattern. This is our most popular lure for Hawaii.

Deadly on all large offshore species, and our personal favorite for targeting both ahi and wahoo.

Troll from 6 to 10+ kts

Plumbus lures can also be jigged on the bottom while slow trolling/drifting for stripers, halibut, amberjack, grouper, snapper, and other bottom fish.

  • Solid lead head, featuring an offset brass lumen with built-in chafe guard that can accommodate up to 500 lb leader.

  • All Lance Lures are powder-coated and oven cured for maximum durability, as well as equipped with a red reflective eye.

  • Cousins BOM #402 skirts (if skirted)

  • All Plumbus lures can be skirted and rigged upon request.

    • $12 for two skirts PLUS $22 rigging with a stainless cable hookset to a very large custom stainless steel double hook. I can also rig Hawaiian-style with ~6 inches of cable in front of the lure for full tooth-proofing at no additional cost.
